Our journey continues
Good morning and goodbye to beautiful Hawaii.
It’s been over a week since we went for a long walk with a friend to say goodbye to Kona … to use that as an opportunity to take those last pictures and watch a perfect sunset.
It’s incredible what can be accomplished in three months when you’re focused. It was such a privilege in YWAM Kona to be a part of the greater mission, praying with and encouraging those students that are being discipled and sent out to many different fields around the world for their outreach.
Matthew 9:37-38
Jesus said to his disciples “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore to send out workers.”
As for us, we flew to Honolulu then had a stop over in Tokyo for a day then onto Australia with nothing in our pockets but a vision in our hearts (without vision we perish).
To those who are with us on this journey of obedience, this is not the end as we will continue, and so will our blog. The call on our life has not changed -just the location.
Living by faith doesn’t mean everything goes to plan. It rarely does. Sandor finishing the Writing School and desiring to do the practicum in Kona seemed to be the way forward until God closed that door when the required finances did not come in. We sought the Lord as to what He would have us do. Did you know that as humans we tend to devise a plan B only to find out plan B was Gods plan A all along.
What we have learnt is to not lose perspective and keep walking in faith. Sandor and I are excited to see what doors will open in Australia and how the Lord will provide. Stay tuned as there is so much more to come.
