Merry Christmas 2025
A most wonderful Christmas 2025 to all of our friends and family who have followed our journey over these last several months.
We had a huge Christmas Eve lunch with the staff and students at YWAM yesterday. There were around 18 countries represented, and each of them said “Merry Christmas” in their own language and also shared a family Christmas tradition from their country. A common theme was the fondness with which they each spoke about their experiences, and even the simplest (and weirdest) traditions held so much meaning and nostalgia for them.
And today we spent Christmas Day at a friend’s place, with several kids and grandkids and extended family. It was buzzing with the laughter of little ones and great food in massive quantities.
However you are spending this Christmas season, may it be filled with good memories and times of heartfelt reflection on the year that has been.
Renee and I have really appreciated all of your friendship, support, and encouragement this year, and our prayers for each of you are for ever-greater intimacy with God.
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
Numbers 6:24–26
