We have landed at “YWAM Medical Ships”.
I’d love to inform you of all that they do but I’ll leave that for another post. However you can see our ship in the background which is currently in dry dock in the Philippines, being prepared for its next visit to Papua New Guinea.
The base here in Townsville is also busy with Community, Youth, and School programs, and of course, scores of young people coming and going doing missions training in different areas. Once more I’m humbled to be a part of such an incredible organization.
We were welcomed by the base directors with open arms and shown such generous hospitality by being offered to rent a unit on campus. This allows Sandor to complete the writing practicum here for the next 3 months. A prayer answered … I thought we might be couch surfing
I quickly found my place at the reception desk. I love being the face with a smile, meeting and greeting walk-ins, being the friendly phone conversationalist, and giving guidance and direction. How lifechanging to be part of a movement that’s so much larger than our dreams, desires or goals.
With so much happening here is there room for more? The answer is yes. We continue to ask to be stretched and strengthened and God answers that prayer.
Wonderful to see you’ve found your next adventure God is good all of the time “
Wow, back in Townsville!!! What an incredible adventure!
