Hi. My name is Sandor Kovats and I'm full time staff at YWAM San Diego Baja (Tijuana Campus). I've been involved with YWAM for 20 years now and have created other YWAM sites such as YWAM Bases and YWAM DTS as well as several individual Base web sites and national portals.
I also helped build YWAM's first fully integrated social network base website at Reef to Outback in Townsville Australia.

About YWAM.meI originally had the concept for YWAM.me over 2 years ago and have been thinking through the best way to provide staff and student pages to YWAM bases. Several years ago I developed a system (YWAM Bases) that would allow bases to develop their own staff and student pages but over the last few years Facebook has become the defacto standard for social profiles. It's clear that users are now relucant to maintain different profiles around the web, hence the idea arose to use people's facebook profiles as their primary source of contact, along with other services such as Flickr and Twitter if they wished.
So YWAM.me is incredibly simple and with only a handful of clicks a YWAM member can register and not have to concern themselves with constantly maintaining their profile. Bases can then include this information on their own web site as Staff and Student pages.
